Read the text below and answer the questions:
The Red Ball
The ball is on the floor. It is a red ball. It is a rubber ball. The baby looks at the ball. The cat looks at the ball. The cat is black. The cat walks over the ball. The cat hits the ball with its paw. The ball rolls on the floor. The baby smiles.
1. Where is the ball?
2. What colour is it?
3. Who looks at the ball first?

Activity 2. Spot the difference!
The teacher shows the pupils a picture with a white cat and a red ball. The pupils look at the picture related to the text, read the text again (if necessary) and spot the mistake. (The cat is white, not black.)

Read the text The Red Ball and write a similar story entitled The Pink Balloon. The main characters are the baby and the cat, but the last sentence of the story will be: The baby cries.
Activity 4. Feedback
After all the pupils read their stories, the teacher invites them all to vote for the funniest one. Each pupil can vote once and only for a story written by someone else.
